| Establishing A Named ScholarshipNamed scholarships for Regina students can be established through a minimum gift of $10,000 or more to the Regina Foundation. Donors may endow into perpetuity a named scholarship for use by current and potential Regina students. With the intention to fund a named scholarship without the requisite $10,000, an individual or family may create a scholarship with a down payment of $5,000 with the remaining $5,000 to be paid no later than five years from the date of initiation. The principal of the scholarship gift is left untouched, with approximately 5% interest paid out annually to the scholarship recipient. Scholarship awards average $500 per recipient. Named scholarships offer individuals, families, alumni/alumni classes, businesses, and other interested parties the opportunity to recognize a person’s life, accomplishments, and beliefs. The criteria for a named scholarship shall be set by the donor in agreement with the Executive Director and the Board of Directors of the Regina Foundation. Donor/donor families are invited to present the scholarship at the annual Regina Awards Assembly held each May at the school. Please contact April Rouner at (319)354-5866 or info@icreginafoundation.com to find out more about establishing a named scholarship endowment.
