Recent Class Reunions

Regina High School Class of 1980

The Class of 1980 had its 30th reunion on July 23rd and 24th, and it was quite a success.  During the weekend, they had about 40 classmates attend the reunion, and most were from out of town.  On Friday, they met at Blackstone for an informal gathering that was well attended.  On Saturday morning, some met at Regina for a tour led by John Allen and a group picture.  It was a great chance for everyone to go through the building and revisit what had been there when they attended, and also see the new additions.  For some, this was the first visit back to the school since graduation.  Saturday afternoon, they golfed at the Elks, followed by dinner.  Gen Wombacher, Marlene, Mr. A., Coach/Teacher Dean Birkhofer and Coach/Teacher Mike Rothamel also attended the dinner.  After dinner, they had a great time enjoying a trivia game with questions written up by classmates during the weekend.

 

Regina High School Class of 1985

The Class of 1985 celebrated 25 years since graduation at a reunion held June 25-27, 2010.  There was a golf outing at the Elks Country Club and dinner at the Vine in Coralville on Friday; a tour of Regina and “Flashback Dinner” at Blackstone on Saturday; and Mass at St. Patrick Church on Sunday.
